Watch 2 Win Promotion – Terms & Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

By submitting an entry into this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Lightforce Limited (“Promoter”).

2. Promotion Name

Lightforce Solar – My House My Castle Watch 2 Win Promotion (“Promotion”).

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion runs for ten (10) consecutive weekly entry periods corresponding with the broadcast of My House My Castle.

• Opening: Wednesday 8 April 2026
• Closing: Tuesday following each Wednesday broadcast at 11:59pm
• Final close date: Tuesday 16 June 2026 (following Episode 10)

Each weekly entry period opens on Wednesday and closes the following Tuesday (“Weekly Entry Period”).

4. Eligibility

To be eligible to enter, entrants must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be a New Zealand resident
• Not be an employee of Lightforce Solar Limited, its related entities, agencies, or their immediate family

Entrants acknowledge that to redeem the prize, they (or any nominated transferee- see point 7) must be a current homeowner or an intended homeowner within the three (3) year voucher validity period.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time

5. How to Enter

During each Weekly Entry Period, eligible entrants may:

1. Watch My House My Castle during the relevant broadcast week; and
2. Visit the official Lightforce Solar competition entry page – www.lightforce.co.nz/watch2win ; and
3. Complete the online entry form in full and submit it within the correct Weekly Entry Period.

Entry Limits:

• One (1) entry per person per week
• Maximum of ten (10) entries per person across the full Promotion
• Incomplete or late entries will be deemed invalid.

6. Prize Details

Following the close of the Promotion, one (1) winner will be drawn on 22 June 2026 to receive One (1) Lightforce Solar Voucher valued at NZD $10,000.

Voucher Conditions

• The voucher cannot be redeemed for cash
• The voucher cannot be refunded
• The voucher may be transferred once, subject to the conditions below ( Point 7)
• The voucher may only be used as part payment toward the purchase and installation of:
  
  • A home solar system
  • A battery system
  • A SolarPort™ installation

Validity:

• The voucher is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue
• Any unused portion of the voucher after redemption is forfeited

7. Voucher Transferability

The winner may transfer the voucher to another individual, subject to the following conditions:

• The transfer is voluntary and irreversible
• Upon transfer, the original winner forfeits all rights, claims, and interests in the voucher
• All rights and obligations relating to the voucher pass in full to the transferee
• The transferee must:
  
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be a New Zealand resident
  • Be a current homeowner or an intended homeowner within the three (3) year voucher validity period

The Promoter reserves the right to require written confirmation and reasonable evidence of eligibility from both the winner and the transferee prior to approving redemption.

8. Winner Selection and Notification

• The winner will be selected via a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period
• The draw will take place on 22 June 2026
• The winner will be notified using the contact details provided at entry

If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw.

9. Prize Fulfilment

• The voucher will be applied as a credit at contract stage when the winner or approved transferee proceeds with an eligible Lightforce Solar purchase
• All installations are subject to:
  
  • Site assessment
  • Standard Lightforce Solar terms of sale
  • Regulatory, technical, and structural suitability

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse redemption where installation is not feasible or commercially viable.

10. Publicity & Promotional Use

By entering the Promotion, entrants acknowledge and agree that if they win:

• They may be required to participate in reasonable promotional, media, and publicity activities
• This may include:
  
  • Social media content
  • Filming of their Solar Installation, Battery installation, or SolarPort installation.  
  • Photography and video
  • Marketing and public relations materials
• No additional compensation will be provided for such participation

This consent is a condition of entry, even if the voucher is subsequently transferred.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with this Promotion will be used for:

• Administering the Promotion
• Contacting entrants and the winner
• Marketing and promotional purposes (where consent has been provided)

All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

12. General Conditions

• The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into
• The Promoter is not responsible for:
  
  • Lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries
  • Technical failures or system errors
• The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion if required by circumstances beyond its control

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising in connection with the Promotion or prize.

Entrants indemnify the Promoter against any claim arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of the prize.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
