Salary Band:

Role Overview

This is not your typical sales support role.
As our Technical Sales Quality Specialist, you are the critical link between sales and delivery, the person who ensures every solar proposal is accurate, safe, and ready to go. You’ll act as the final checkpoint before installation, while also lifting the capability of our sales team and improving the overall customer experience.

If you enjoy detail, problem-solving, and working across teams to get things right the first time, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Final Design & Pricing Review

  • Review solar system designs for technical accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure all safety, customer, and regulatory requirements are met
  • Verify pricing, materials, labour, and external costs
  • Partner with sales consultants and install teams to resolve design issues

Job Approval & System Setup

  • Provide final sign-off on job scope, design, and pricing
  • Set up approved jobs in systems (e.g. simPRO)
  • Coordinate with scheduling teams for smooth project delivery

Customer & Sales Support

  • Support sales consultants with technical queries
  • Help customers understand their system design and installation scope
  • Coach the sales team to improve proposal quality and reduce rework

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate records of approvals and safety checks
  • Report on quality, compliance, and cost accuracy
  • Identify trends and recommend process improvements

Health & Safety & Team Contribution

  • Champion a proactive health & safety culture
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver great outcomes
  • Meet KPIs and service expectations (including timely communication)

Skills & Experience

You don’t need to tick every box, but you do need to bring curiosity, ownership, and a strong eye for detail.

  • Experience in sales support, coordination, or administration (solar, construction, or trades highly advantageous)
  • Understanding of installation environments, safety compliance, or cost structures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator—able to work with both technical teams and customers
  • Comfortable using CRM or job management systems
  • Proactive problem solver who takes ownership

Nice to Have:

  • Solar industry knowledge or certifications
  • Experience with systems like simPRO
