Sungrow WiFi Reconnection

If you have changed your internet provider, WiFi network name (SSID), or password you will need to reconnect your inverter to your WiFi network. Follow the steps below to do this using the iSolarCloud app.

Step 1: Open the iSolarCloud app and tap the Support button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Tap WLAN Configuration

Step 3: Scan the QR code on the WiFi dongle

Step 4: Select your WiFi network from the network list.

Step 5: Enter your WiFi network password and tap OK

Step 6: if the WLAN indicator light on the WiFi dongle is not flashing rapidly press the button on the WiFi dongle once then select Continue

Step 7:  inverter should now connect to your WiFi network.

Troubleshooting

Fault Corrective Measures
System is offline in iSolarCloud

1. Check and ensure that you can access the internet through your home network

2. Check the WiFi signal strength at the inverter. If the signal is too low the system will not be able to connect to the WiFi

3. Remove the WiFi dongle, wait for 15s and reinsert

4. Restart your solar system

WLAN indicator is on for 1 minute and then turns to fault blinking

1. Check and ensure that you can access the internet through your home network

2. Check the white/blacklist settings of your home router. Add the domain names (iot.isolarcloud.com, iot.isolarcloud.com.hk, iot.isolarcloud.eu, auiot.isolarcloud.com) to the whitelist.

3. Check that port 19999 and 16668 is not blocked in the router settings.
