GoodWe – WiFi reconnection

Via the SEMS Portal App
Ensure your inverter is currently not connected to WiFi, the power light on the inverter should be flashing and you are standing nearby to the inverter.


How to steps:

  1. Open the SEMS Portal app
  2. Click “WiFi Configuration” on the Login page or if you are already logged in click the WiFi icon on the bottom tab
  3. Ensure that the inverter is powered on (some inverters need sunlight to power on) then select “Next”
  4. Click “Go to WLAN “
  5. Connect to the ‘Solar-WiFi’ network using the password ‘12345678’ then go back into the SEMS portal app.
  6. Click ‘Next’
  7. Select your home WiFi network in the “WiFi-Network” field
  8. Enter your WiFi Password

Your inverter should now connect to your home WiFi network, this can take a few minutes. The inverter power light should now stop flashing.
