Primary Supply & Logistics Manager and Bay of Plenty Hub Manager

Salary Band:

$30-$35 per hour

Role Overview

As Lightforce Solar’s Bay of Plenty Hub Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our operations running efficiently by ensuring our installation teams have the stock, equipment, and resources they need to deliver outstanding solar projects. This is a hands-on, varied position that combines warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational support. You’ll act as the key connection between our national supply chain and local hub operations, taking ownership of warehouse functions while helping drive smooth day-to-day activity within a growing and fast-paced renewable energy business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and coordinate materials and equipment for installation teams.
  • Receive, organise, and distribute stock across the hub and field teams.
  • Support logistics and stock movement between warehouses, vehicles, and sites.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, and system updates.
  • Assist with day-to-day hub operations and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or a similar role.
  • Current Forklift Licence and Full NZ Driver Licence.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good computer literacy and confidence using workplace systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Physically fit with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with simPRO or the solar, construction, or trades sector is advantageous.
