Terms and conditions – Summer Savings Promotion

  • General
    • We understand that discussion around a Solar package for your home may take some time, so once you have registered your details with us, then the deal will be valid irrespective of the future install date.
    • All of our installations are subject to our standard terms of service. If we identify that your installation will require additional work or costs we will provide you with a customised quote which you must accept before we start work.
  • Roof Pitch
    Our standard installations are suitable for properties with a maximum roof pitch of 25 degrees. Installations on steeper roofs may require customised solutions and incur additional charges. Scaffolding if required is an additional cost.
  • Installation and Travel
    • Our standard pricing package includes standard installation and travel within 50 kilometres of one of our seven Lightforce Solar hub locations.
    • If your property is located more than 50km from one of our hub locations, an additional travel surcharge may apply. Travel charges will be calculated based on the additional distance and take account of any aspects of gaining access to your site.
  • Switchboard Requirements
    • Our installations require adequate space in your existing switchboard and our standard pricing package allows for a maximum cable run of 5 metres from the switchboard to the inverter or battery.
    • If additional cabling is required, or if the switchboard does not meet current safety standards (particularly for whole home backup), additional costs may be incurred to upgrade or modify the setup accordingly.
  • Roof Type
    Our standard installation pricing is based on installing solar panels on a corrugated iron roof. Installations on other roofing types (e.g., tile, decramastic, membrane) may involve additional labour or mounting system costs.
  • Electrical Compliance – AS/NZS 3000
    • All installations must comply with the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules. In some cases, this may require additional mechanical protection, including (but not limited to) bollards for wall-mounted battery systems located on rear or side walls.
    • The electrical compliance requirements are assessed on-site, particularly where batteries are at risk of damage from normal vehicle movements (e.g., in driveways or garages).
  • Airpoints ™
    Standard earn on Airpoints™ applies: 1 Airpoints Dollar™ for every $75.00 spent. No other Airpoints promotion applies. Beaudy’s Elite Solar Bundle; Scott’s Super Solar Pack and Jordies Power Max Bundle –  earn 3x Airpoints Dollars™. No other Airpoints promotion applies. Terms and Conditions – Barrett Brothers Experience

  1. Definitions
  • Barrett Brothers refers to Beauden Barrett, Scott Barrett, and Jordie Barrett.
  • Lightforce Solar refers to the promoter of this experience.
  1. Eligibility

To qualify for entry into the Barrett Brothers Experience prize draw:

  • You must purchase a solar system from Lightforce Solar and pay a deposit on or before 21 December 2025.
  • Only enquiries made between 28 October 2025 and 21 December 2025 are eligible.
  • Entrants must be aged 18 years or older and reside in New Zealand.
  1. Prize Details
  • Five (5) prizes will be awarded, each for two (2) persons, totalling ten (10) winners.
  • The prize includes:
    • A full-day experience with the Barrett Brothers, including flights and accommodation if required.
    • An Adidas product pack for each attendee.
    • Behind-the-scenes access to a TVC shoot with the Barrett Brothers.
    • A personally signed rugby ball from one of the Barrett Brothers.
    • Breakfast or late lunch with the Barrett Brothers (subject to confirmation).
    • A Lightforce Solar gift bag.
    • A photo opportunity with the Barrett Brothers.
  1. Draw and Notification
  • The prize draw will take place during the week commencing 12 January 2026, and no later than Friday, 16 January 2026.
  • Winners will be notified by Monday, 19 January 2026 via phone and/or email.
  • Winners must confirm acceptance of the prize within 48 hours of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture, and a new winner will be drawn.
  1. Experience Date
  • The date of the experience will be confirmed by 31 January 2026.
  • The experience date is subject to change based on the Barrett Brothers’ rugby training and playing commitments.
  1. General Conditions
  • The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
  • Lightforce Solar reserves the right to substitute any part of the prize with an item of equal or greater value if required.
  • No correspondence will be entered into regarding the draw, selection of winners, or prize details.
  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • Lightforce Solar reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
